Ohio cops hope video will aid probe of lamb heads
AP CINCINNATI - Police believe a retailer’s video may help them find out who left lambs’ heads at three homes and nailed to a homemade cross outside a Roman Catholic church.
Police reported last month that someone left butchered heads first thought to be goats’ heads on the doorsteps of two homes and in the bed of a truck outside a third home in the upscale Hyde Park neighborhood. A fourth head was found the next day nailed to a homemade, 1-foot-high cross outside a church not far from Hyde Park, police Detective Charles Zopfi said Thursday.
