Thank you archbishop and God bless you; and thank you God for coming up with a solution that should work; or at least bring the whole situation to a larger and legal audience.
 
It makes sense to us Catholics, but I can’t imagine this tactic will work.

It will be awfully hard to charge someone with stealing when they are given the item.
