I listened to a programme last night called action 60s. The program had Karl Keating on it speaking with Dave Hunt. I assume the “debate” I listened to was over 20 years old. Karl could you or anyone fill me in on the landscape of anti Catholic protestant authors? I know that Lorraine Boetner and Bart Brewer are no longer with us. I also see that Dave Hunt is now around 80 years old. James R. WHite seems to be the last man standing…and in my opionion he likes to revise church history.
Is it possible that Catholic answers “cut their teeth” dealing with the “old tyme” anti-Catholicism in order to prepare for the current anti-Catholicism that comes from within our own church and Culture? It just seems to me that the our old “opponents” are not there anymore. Is it possible that that “old tyme” antiCatholicism is dying out with people like brewer and boetner? I have a brother who is an evangelical and he is “freindly” to Catholic doctrine.
ANy thoughts?
