That’s fine but I liked seeing the awareness of the disease raised even though it doesn’t have the same impact on me as it once did. In spite of the fact that ALS took my mom it is not one of my causes. I can’t support every movement I want to with the same effort and energy. I pick the ones I’m most passionate about and if I can’t support hands on I donate; if I don’t have $$ for it I try to do something hands on. And if I can put the French flag on my profile pic for a couple of weeks I’ll do that, too. And smiled everytime saw or heard “ALS” for a few weeks a couple of years ago because I heard those letters more than I ever did before it touched my life and in a much more positive way. Did me no good personally, but I know those who had been and would be diagnosed with it would appreciate people knowing about it.Nope I’ll stand before God on that one too I suppose…
Btw isn’t the ice bucket challenge in direct opposition to heart attack awareness run month ribbons?
