The former pastor at a Mesa Catholic church who faces seven misdemeanor charges of sexual misconduct has started a new worship center and conducted his first services.

More than 500 worshippers gathered to hear Dale Fushek conduct a service at a Mesa hotel Thursday.

Known as “Monsignor Dale” during his 20 years at St. Timothy’s, Fushek co-founded the national Life Teen program and served as vicar general of the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix.

Why on earth do these idiots think that “teens” need special Masses, as if the TLM isn’t special enough? Flush this filth out of His Church once and for all. I find it shocking that people would flock to his “Worship Center.” There truly are a lot of crazies running around.

hmmm… I can’t speak about the teen Mass concept, since I wasn’t Catholic as a teen. But I think the TLM, while appealing to a certain percentage of Catholics, is too esoteric for the majority of (at least) Americans.

Yes, I was surprised that he attracted 500 attendees, on a word of mouth basis. He apparently has a lot of defenders.

To be fair to him, he hasn’t been convicted of sexual offenses and is seeking jury trials for his charges.

Dale, the police new about this man’s homosexuality.
He never had a true vocation to the HOLY priesthood. That men like this get themselves ordained is a great travesty. But sometimes it is like minded ones that bring them along. The priesthood was only a mask for his own narcissism. And now he leaves the church to start his own! He was not even Catholic!

His soul is in mighty danger! May we pray for his conversion for without repentance things might not go well with him.

In February / March 2005, I was in Phoenix on business and after work I picked up a bunch of newspapers.

One of them had a front page story that continued on for pages and pages about Fushek.

I cut it out and sent it in to CA.

But I’m surprised that it took this long for the story to hit the Main Stream Media.

after reading the article and looking at their website I was struck with the following song…

Its a one world after all…

It screams of a unified approach at blending all faiths into one.

I went to St. Tim’s in my teens and early twenties and Fr. Dale was the pastor there. It was that church that made me want to become Catholic. I had a difficult time when this all came out about Fr. Dale as he was a great Priest. He has not been convicted of anything yet and many of his parish members still back him to this day. He was a very dominant speaker and I always got something out of his homilies. I haven’t gone to St. Tim’s for a while, but I would always go once in a while to hear Fr. Dale.
Regarding the Teen Mass - here in Az. it is a big thing and it draws many teens to Mass. I am 34 and I still enjoy attending the Teen Mass once in a while. The music is always so uplifting. . I think it is wonderful and I am glad I was part of it (even though I wasn’t officially Catholic yet) when the Teen Mass first started at St. Tim’s.Other churches have services for teens. I was Methodist growing up and always went to church on Sunday evenings. We always had a Sunday School type thing.
