One reason I love my spouse

…is because he’s been so caring these past few days when I’ve been sick. And through all kinds of other bad times.

my wife is very patient. also, she would never post a huge list of my flaws on a public internet forum so whenever i spend time lurking in the “family life” forum here i’m reminded anew of how lucky i am lol.
 
Today I love my spouse because I was able to walk for 45 minutes on my treadmill this afternoon. He consented to buy the treadmill , put it where it needed to be despite it’s 350 pound weight and ran the electricity required for it. There is not much DH hates more than working with electricity. 🙂

Just one? Ugh, that’s tough. DH has done so many nice things for me today already, I could name a dozen!

By way of example, this morning he had a day off and he let the baby and I sleep in for a couple more hours while he cared for the older two children so that we would have energy to go into the office today for a few hours.

Our littlest girl is just 2.5 weeks old, but I’ve been back at work part-time - mostly from home, this is only our second time in the office - for 2 weeks already, and DH has been doing tons to make sure I can save my time and energy for work, newborn care, and mothering our older daughters. The implied acknowledgement that all of these roles are important and that I’m under a lot of pressure means as much to me as the things he is actually doing.

After a lot of craziness this week between the two of us, we were able to finally come together to show compassion, forgiveness, and the strength of our marriage and our committment to each other and our vows. So today, I love and am thankful for my wife’s forgiveness.

ONE (I noticed some here cheated on the rule:p) reason why I love my DH today is that he took into account the fact that I have a hard time to cope with “whole week passing without at least ONE long evening together when we don’t come home so late and tired from work that we are not really able to have bonding time together”, and said that, yes, tomorrow evening we’d try to come home early.🙂

I am thankful today for the statement from my wife on a card she just gave me last night - “I love you today more than yesterday!”
 
I love my husband today because even though he HATES his job he goes everyday without complaint (and on a Monday, that’s impressive :p) to supply for his family. He is sooooo hard working and deserves that transfer I’ve been praying for him to get for forever now. He deserves it so very badly. 😦
 
i love my spouse because he tells me I’m beautiful first thing in the morning.
 
Today I love my spouse because she took the time to look up what gifts were for our anniversary and searched for something that we have both wanted and went through the trouble to find the store that had it, bought it and we love it!

She is so thoughtful and always thinking of me!

I love my spouse because he is my anchor and my best friend. He is intelligent, laid-back and sensible. He has pushed me to do things I thought I could not do, but he knew I could. What an exceptional man!
 
Today (well this is everyday, too!) I love my husband because he makes sure we get all (that’s us and 4 young children!) get up in time for Mass and family prayer everyday, and today he gave me that extra loving gentle push to get to confession when I needed a little reminder. :o

Mamacita and Mirror Mirror, we’re also celebrating 8 years this May, and are expecting our 5th child in July! 👍
