If you could travel as far back or as far forward in time as you liked, then which way woukd you go?

If you can only go one way… that’s tough cos there’d be no coming back. I doubt there’d be many takers if it’s one journey. If I could come back, I’d go back to Christ’s time, perhaps.

I will go to confession, then I’ll use the time machine, then I’ll go witness the rapture

I’d go back to when I did’nt know Christ then recieve Him into my heart.

Interesting how you’d all go towards the end of time… how would you know which date to put in? …assuming it’s like Back to the Future 😛

As well as the time of Christ witnessing the beginning of creation would be cool.

As an optimist, I’d want to go to the future.

Although going to the past would be interesting too. Going to 1929 and shorting the market in anticipation of the bear market and Great Depression, going back to 1990 and betting the house on Buster Douglas, investing the proceeds into Amazon.

Very interesting question! I have actually pondered this before, and I know just what I would do. I would go back to London in the early eighteenth century and hear the performances of Händel’s operas and oratorios. There is so much controversy in musicological circles over exactly what music sounded like in earlier eras, and this would be my chance to find out. My first choice was actually to go back and hear Mozart during his lifetime, but Vienna in the late eighteenth century was being besieged by Turks, and Napoleon’s troops after the turn of the century didn’t improve matters. I figure London in the 1720s is a pretty safe bet, generally speaking, if I can tolerate the lice, the bedbugs, the chamber pots emptied into the streets and the stench of unwashed bodies.

Well, it wouldn’t work to try to go past then. You wouldn’t accidentally miss it. 😉

Interesting. I don’t think I would go forward though, all computers, robots ,space travel etc…Anyway I really would like to go back stop right at the Sermon on the Mount, center me right in front. I wonder though, when going back do we remember the Person, the place etc when we get there??That would be alright with me though for if I am the person with the heart and soul I have, I would not leave Jesus after that. In a way I wish after I go back my memory of the future was gone and I would follow Jesus knowing He was the Messiah… God bless

I’m going to the very beginning to witness Satan getting his butt kicked by St. Michael the Archangel.

I hope you are fluent in ancient Aramaic, otherwise you will have no clue what’s going on.

Go back to 10th century Europe.

Warn the church about the Protestant reformation that’ll pop in a few hundred years to stay ahead of the abuses that caused it.

Tell them about the new world, if possible bring detailed maps for ocean navigating and land navigating the new terrain.

Make the world one large papal state.

Can I go back 1 second in time? Least risky options (won’t mess past or future up) and least emotionally taxing.

The rapture isn’t a real thing. It’s not catholic teaching.

With Jesus being there all the Love radiating from Him, I don’t believe language would be a problem knowing what He is saying… If I time traveled back, I’m sure Jesus would know that and not abandon meGod bless.

The future.

Less constraints. More time for society to work itself out.
