One weird fact about you

I have only just noticed this topic closes in 4 days.

My husband sings, plays piano, guitar, violin and flute.

I can’t even click my fingers in time to a rhythm.

Trust me, that’s not weird. Most people can’t keep time, LOL 😊🤣

And it looks like that’s been fixed! 🎆

I have a birthmark on my scalp upon which no hair has ever grown. 😊

I was pigeon-toed too. I had to wear big awkward corrective shoes before I started school. I can still remember when I was a little boy being in church on Sundays and kicking those big shoes against the back of the next pew. It was very loud! I could only ever get a few kicks in before my parents repositioned me.

Also, I only see out of one eye or the other. Both eyes work, but one or the other “switches off” depending on where I’m looking, giving me monocular, not binocular vision. This affects my depth perception, and made me terrible at sports as a kid. My eye doctor told me I could never be a pilot because of this condition.

I used to sing to my kitty Eppie (lived to be 24) too. Her favorite song was Ave Maria. Whenever I’d start singing it, she’d come from wherever she was (even if she had been sound asleep in another room), jump up on my lap or sway against my legs and purr, purr, purr.

Hi @MD3,

That’s sooo sweet, and so awesome, too! ❤️

Our kitties never cease to amaze me with their intelligence, and with what they will do, either!

I don’t think that mine would wake up for me if I started singing, though! 😄 😉

I really like sardines and carry a can for easy snacking in my cooler.

My cat does nothing cute or amusing.

She just sits on the ironing board and judges me.

That sounds like a great idea! 🙂

If you see a small brown tabby cat following you, you’ll know that it’s my kitty, as she loves any type of fish! 😄 😉

Hmmm… I can legible write in reverse (right to left; characters flipped) with either my right or left hands.

Yep. I read a book about Da Vinci “mirror-writting” when I was 7 or 8 and thought “that’s a cool trick”. My kids think it’s cool. My wife? Not so much. I guess shopping lists in reverse aren’t “practical”. 😈

My shopping lists usually have drawings of faces on them…I just get carried away 🙂

If, at a particular point in time, I was given a choice between going to Confession or going to Mass right then and there, I’d choose Confession.

I’d choose Mass if I were in a state of grace, but I hear what you are saying about humility, God love you. We should all be so aware.

I have just passed my first kidney stone and been at work 9 hours afterwards. ( I really had to be, it was my first shift) But I feel accomplished none the less!
