I’m looking for a free, or at least inexpensive, online New American Bible that will have automatic referrals to the commentary of the passage I happen to be reading. Suggestion please.
Your meaning seems to be ambiguous here. Would you care to clarify? There are two alternative ways of reading your statement, as I see it.that the author of the Gospel according to Matthew is not and cannot be known,
I personally don’t know of ANY that do ALL that you ask:I’m looking for a free, or at least inexpensive, online New American Bible that will have automatic referrals to the commentary of the passage I happen to be reading. Suggestion please.
The link doesn’t work.please refer to the 1941 Confraternity New Testament.
I am not sure what you mean about the referrals, but I use this site for an online Scripture source:I’m looking for a free, or at least inexpensive, online New American Bible that will have automatic referrals to the commentary of the passage I happen to be reading. Suggestion please.
Protestants have their own commentaries…I have always felt that comments about a particular verse or parable is very helpful in letting me know what the prodominate thought is since I have on occassion had very different opinions from different sources. And, sometimes I have to use my own judgement on what is being said. Which is not always correct. Commentary gives me some arguements to use when talking to protestants.
