A lot of time is spent defending our religious beliefs and attacking others. It might be a good idea to take some time to simply share the better aspects of our respective religions. But I’d ask that we keep two rules in place: 1. Do not compare or contrast anything about your beliefs with the beliefs of others. 2. Don’t post anything that negatively impacts either your religion or anyone elses. 3. (I know I said there were only two rules, but you gotta be flexible in life) If someone breaks either of the first two rules, don’t respond in kind.
As for Judaism: I like the fact that it emphisizes the importance of life. The Talmud teaches that “he who saves one life, it is as though he saved the universe.”
