No, but the state’s case is. All in all a pretty terrible outing. I don’t think the defense’s case presentation is going to improve the case against him.The trial is not over yet.

Is the defense going to be able to include TM’s history of fighting, being kicked out of his mom’s house, toxicology? No, but the state’s case is. All in all a pretty terrible outing. I don’t think the defense’s case presentation is going to improve the case against him.
Depends on what doors the prosecution opened. My guess little to none of that gets in.Is the defense going to be able to include TM’s history of fighting, being kicked out of his mom’s house, toxicology?
Did he have bruised knuckles or was that an exaggeration of a small abrasion to his left ring finger and Trayvon was right handed.Never heard that. I did hear TM had bruised knuckles. What did the ME deduct from that?
It does if you’re basing the trial on emotion. TM is dead, therefore, Z must be a murderer.Depends. In my aforementioned post, my father was killed by a single shot to the head. I’ve known people shot in the head who survived.
The fact that a person is either dead or alive has no bearing on the guilt of the perpetrator of the shot. It’s the circumstances that make it murder or self-defense.
The fact the Trayvon is dead makes Zimmerman a murderer? What is your point?
I agreeIt does if you’re basing the trial on emotion. TM is dead, therefore, Z must be a murderer.
I agree. Another case of the left politicizing a politically neutral event. And Obama started it all by saying that if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon. This case has been dividing our country. I’m worried what will happen when he’s either acquitted or convicted of a lesser charge. Those are the only two outcomes I see.
It was politicized well before the President made those comments. Our local coverage (on 97.1 fm) includes (name removed by moderator)ut from Florida by a reporter was formerly in St. Louis. He talked about interviewing Jesse Jackson when he was protesting the lack of charges against Z soon after the event. During the interview, Jackson referred several times to the neighborhood being “lily white”. Off air, the reporter told Jackson that the demographics of the neighborhood is 56% black/hispanic. Jackson said he didn’t know, and thanked him for the info.I agree

Sadly, looking at the characters in the trial, I haven’t seen Obama do a thing for inner city and ghetto stunted blacks. Nothing. He doesn’t visit inner city schools, community centers, homeless shelters. There is so much he could have done as a role model. The homeless shelter where I volunteer has mostly African-American mothers and children. When Obama first got elected, I asked the kids if they knew the name of Obama’s children. No one knew. In the 6 years Obama has been the spotlight, not one mother named her children Sasha or Malia. Remember all the Caroline’s and John’s named after the Kennedy children?
Oh brother…It was politicized well before the President made those comments. The next day on the Today show, Jackson continued to use the “walking while black in a lily-white neighborhood” argument.
I can agree with you on that!Obama is an embarrassment.
Precisely…which is why I would find it very difficult to find a man who only had defensive wounds and shot a young man who only had offensive wounds guilty of murder beyond a reasonable doubt. We can create as many scenarios as we want to declare guilt or innocence, but we can’t truly know…thus reasonable doubt exists. No one has called anyone on this thread a defender of Murderers. Most say we don’t know what happened because one party of the incident, Martin is dead.
I thought you might~I can agree with you on that!
Oh SamHThe bushes Martin came out of when he attacked Zimmerman. The ones identified by the NY Times. The ones Zimmerman said Martin was in. The ones the prosecution has not claimed don’t exist. Are you saying you know something the prosecution does not know?
There is clear evidence that Zimmerman was lying big time. He re-enacted what happened that night a day after the incident. Raw Video: George Zimmerman reenacts incident for Sanford PoliceThe Prosecution did indeed focus at quite length on the inconsistencies in Zimmerman’s statements of which one was the bushes. None were in the spot of the confrontation.
Also he was unable to tell if Zimmerman jumped out in front of him or from behind.

Zimmerman is lying or else his memory is questionable enough to question his account of events.Oh SamH

Also important was his denial about his knowledge of stand-your-ground law.Zimmerman is lying or else his memory is questionable enough to question his account of events.
He can’t remember street names and there are three,
He can’t remember he is not to follow Martin.
He can’t remember if Martin jumped in front of him or from behind him.
The bushes story changes.
etc.
That was a blatant lie. He got an A in that ClassAlso important was his denial about his knowledge of stand-your-ground law.
He told police that he has a “bad memory”, a “terrible memory”. So why believe him?
The medical examiner said that those abrasions could have happened several hours before the altercation, during the altercation, or after the gunshot. What offensive wound are you referring to that Trayvon Martin had.
What was reported as “bruised knuckles” was officially reported as a small abrasion to the left ring finger (1/4 inch but I stand corrected on that; from memory) and Trayvon was right handed.
Was there something else officially reported?
I’m assuming the medical report, which iirc said the abrasion was consistent with hitting someone, will be presented by the defense. The fact he was right handed doesn’t prevent someone from hitting another with their left hand. We’ll have to see what the defense presents. What offensive wound are you referring to that Trayvon Martin had.
