If it’s the same Bill Diss I know, he is DEVOTED to pro life causes. I will say an extra prayer for him and try to get in touch.

This town is pro gay, pro euthanasia and pro abortion. Abortion was allowed here before Roe v Wade. It used to be a “mecca” for those in more restrictive states. We were the first state to allow euthanasia.

You have done some SELECTIVE reading here. Mr Diss knew “TOP” or Teen Outreach Program was coming. He did not know that this organization was a FRONT for Planned Parenthood until they arrived and he saw the card.

Now one might say Mr Diss should have researched TOP but in fact there are many organizations that are focused on outreach to students who are struggling or have issues other than schoolwork. Why should he have been suspicious of what sounded like a program that would be a positive force for his students?

That’s why people who pick and choose what to quote or don’t read between the lines don’t have credibility. Read for yourself and do not just take headlines as the truth.

There aren’t any actual facts here: what “aggressive tactics?” What “proper authorization” did they lack? Where is the copy of the complaint Planned Parenthood supposedly filed?

I did not see that objection raised in Mr. Diss letter on the other website. The way that sentence is set up, I think the only fair reading is that the objection was based upon a lack of authorization. If, however, the objection is that it seemed to be an authorization for one thing, when it was really for another (i.e., the group was properly authorized to be on school grounds and speak with students, but it is the purpose for which they were there which is objectionable), the the articles reporting on the incident should make that clear. I should not have to “read between the lines”.

My comment was not a criticism of Mr. Diss at all, but in the way the incident was reported.

I have said here before that I have a close friend and relation who works for Planned Parenthood. They do not “get most of their money through abortions.” They are a non-profit organization and their 990s are online and anyone can see where the money comes from.

I’m a CPA so I can read a 990. Regardless of whether or not they are non-profit, they make the vast majority of their money providing abortions. They are the largest abortion provider in this country.

You can tell they are desperate to keep the abortion business as the money maker as many have suggested they separate it from their supposed healthcare services. They won’t because the only way they stay in business is providing abortions. They would go bankrupt if they were simply getting donations and providing “healthcare.”
