I am disgusted by this, so called, priest michael phleger but I am even more outraged because by his actions he implicates all Catholics. HE DOES NOT REPRESENT ME. I wish to know why his Bishop does not speak out and let the world know that this priest is speaking for himself and others like him. The Bishop MUST take action and either remove him or let the world know that this parish is not considered a part of the Catholic Church.

I disagree. O’Reilly presents a “fair and balanced view.” I appreciate that he had an intelligent active Catholic who could present the other side, even though we may not agree with it. She has a knowledge of where nonCatholic Christians stand and is forming a bridge. You would be amazed at how supportive most mainstream denominations are of Fr. Pfleger, and how antiCatholic the rest of the fundamentlists are, and using this clips to attack the Church.

Unfortunately, Flavia Colgin has had ALOT of practice at gas-bagging on TV. She’s a regular on MSNBC (the 12 people who watch should know her) and is a self-described pro-choice liberal Democrat. She always describes herself as a “practicing Catholic”.

Well, for what it’s worth I’ll be contacting the archdiocese of Chicago and asking flat out why Fr. P is allowed to run what is very clearly NOT a R.C. Church.

If we don’t speak out, nothing will be done to fix the problem.

If you do a search right here on CAF, you will find out all sorts of info on Father Phleger, St. Sabina’s, and why Cardinal George allows him to go on being this sort of counterfeit Protestant-Anabapist-African clergyishperson. For that matter, you will have an inkling on why Cardinal Bernadin didn’t shut him down.

You can write the Archdiocese. A lot of people have already, including I.

The thing that really bothers me: Why does Father Phleger need a crew of male person to guard his person? No joke! It is considered a parish ministry, and it’s listed right on the web site. Talk about a cult of personality!

Oh man…I hope the Church comes down on him like a ton of bricks Doubtful this will ever happen as Cardinal George is now bestowing on “Father” Pfleger a “Lifetime Achievement Award” for all the “good works” he is doing at St. Sabina and the surrounding Chicago community. What a joke! God help the “Church suffering” that is being caused by the scandalous behavior of these “godly” men. Just “follow the $$$” as I’m sure it has something to do with this. So very sad. Bottom line . . . just Trust Jesus rather than the corrupt and sinful men who are supposedly leading his Church! And, PRAY!!!
