Organized protest at Notre Dame

Can anyone authoritatively advise who in the world has supervisory responsibilities over Fr. Jenkins and Notre Dame University as to its Catholic affiliation? The Holy Cross order? The local bishop or archbishop? The USCCB? The Pope? Or does Notre Dame simply answer to Touchdown Jesus?

(The latter of which would not completely surprise me.)

Go to Fr. Jonathan Morris on ND scandal thread and check out JReducation’s post. #64, I think. It clarified a lot for me. Jenkins isn’t the only culpable one in this fiasco.

Well that’s a start. It would be nice to know the real pressure point and it makes sense that Jenkins is not alone in this. We’ll need some more tar, more feathers and more rails - but they all ought to be run out.
