Dear COPLAND 3,
I have the Haydock with commentary, will the commentary in the Douay-Rhiems study bible include all of the original commentary from the 1609 edition?

Yes, all the footnotes, marginal notes, pericopes, introductions, and cross-references are all there. Even all the footnotes, introductions, marginal notes, and pericopes have all updated spelling along with the Scripture text! The Gospel of St. Matthew has just been released on the market today amazon.com/Douay-Rheims-Study-Bible-Gospel-Matthew/dp/1484993543/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1369698703&sr=1-4&keywords=john+litteral

COPLAND3-congratulations and God bless you when you get the Whole bible together, let
me know and I will purchase it! 😃

I don’t know about iphone, but I use kindle on my android.
haha This is a wonderful thing that you are doing. I’ll have to download kindle to my iPhone. 👍 I have always wanted an original Douay-Rheims in modern spelling, no word changes nor phrase changes. It seems that most historical translations that one can purchase either have severely archaic spelling or have updated everything (words and phrases). 🙂

I just downloaded the Kindle version of the Gospel of Matthew. One thing I noticed is that there are no table of contents which makes it hard to go to a specific chapter or verse. Will future publications have that? Thanks.

The printed version has chapter headings on each page which makes it easy to find passages, even quicker and easier than table of contents. The Kindle version is exactly like the printed version but since the formatting is not exactly like the printed version it makes it a little more inconvenient. I love the price of Kindle versions but they can be a little difficult to navigate through them. But as for table of contents, when I publish the multiple books in single volumes then there will be table of contents. I will look into providing table of contents for Kindle, good idea!

I’m giving away printed volumes each week on the Douay-Rheims Facebook page. Each week I am asking for ideas and those who give me ideas I use I ship them free volumes of their choice! I love ideas and (name removed by moderator)ut! facebook.com/pages/Douay-Rheims-Study-Bible/130457003813904

Yes I know.

Will you be re-formatting existing kindle books?

The Gospel of St. Mark is now in review and will be going through a proofing process, and it should be on the market very soon! I have put an exhaustive cross-reference in the back of the book that has every place in Mark that is also mentioned by the other Gospel writers!
