Those four sentences are entirely wrong. That would be like saying, “God didn’t create humans, he created the big bang, he had nothing to do with humans.” I understand evil in every sense of the word. I clearly explained the reasoning several times to you, and yet you still do not get it. God created everything good? Yet there are evil people. Did God not create them?
It is what it is.
Genesis 1:26-31
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 G****od created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.**
*28 *God
blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
29 Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;
30 and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so.
31 God saw all that He had made, and
behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
There is absolutely no way you can convince me that man, being created in His image, His likeness, includes evil. God is not evil. There is no trace of evil in His entire being therefore we cannot be created with evil inside us. Yet since evil does exist (thanks to the fall of the angels) we have to deal with it.
I still thing you get stuck on believing evil is something of substance that God created, as he did air, or water. It’s my understanding (and I could be wrong) that evil is more the absence of God/good/light than anything else. That it was Satan’s
no, the rejection of God’s will by a being which possessed absolute knowledge, which introduced evil, as we know it, to existence.
With free will, which the angels possess, comes the ability to willing say yes to God, or to say No. So long as the angels said yes, everything was good, in right order. But the instant the angels said no, separation from God existed and from that separation comes anger, resentment, envy, jealousy, hatred and so on. Like little toddlers who don’t get their way…all they know is that they are not happy so they lash out and everyone and everything around them. They may not mean to hurt anyone or to destroy property but they just can’t contain the emotions they are experiencing. So it is, I imagine, with Satan and his minions, they are so miserable they attack and attack and attack anything the God loves.
Yes, but God created us to sin.
God created us to know Him, to love Him and to serve Him. Period.
He created disobeying creatures and therefore, sinful creatures.
If you can’t understand this causality then you must not also understand the argument for god through causality.
The only argument I have for God comes from His Word, as revealed to me through the teaching of the apostles (via the Catholic Church) and Scripture.
