Orthodox Christianity - Am I missing anything?

The general Orthodox opinion seems to be that they were all banned because we couldn’t refute their claims and didn’t want to face the truth. You should see what is said about us over at the Orthodox Christian forum (to which I will not post a link as I’m not sure if that’s allowed). Over there it’s painted as if the Orthodox posters were all innocent victims of some kind of internet crusade developed by the evil Romans to silence them. The abusive comments and, in some cases, flat out anti-Catholic bigotry that got them banned, are all casually ignored. In all fairness though, I must say that there were some Catholics who were just as bad…

That’s all I’ll say as I don’t mean to take this thread further off topic.
 
The story I heard was that CAF demanded that the EO’s stop refering to their church as the Orthodox Catholic Church. When they disobeyed they were banned.

No, they were banned to try and stop the trickle of Catholics converting to Orthodoxy as a result of reading their posts. Note that the vast majority of threads we had contributed to were also deleted (only a small percentage have been restored).
