By Hilary White OTTAWA, December 21, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - An Ottawa Sun writer admitted she was “taken aback” to discover that abortion hurts survivors, both women and men, and that it seems there are some subjects that even “open and tolerant” Canada does not want to…

McQueen is unable to square the circle, however, between two incompatible views. Although pro-life people “believe a person is a person from the moment he or she is conceived” and have the right to hold that opinion in a free and democratic society, a woman “should be able to decide – freely, without restrictions or hurdles or much in the way of limits – what to do with one growing in her belly”.
Ultimately, McQueen places herself in the category of the pro-abortion “us”, the majority of Canadians she says are opposed to the pro-life position, writing, “It’s so easy to discount the ‘other side’ of anything as ignorant or crazy, or weird, or uneducated, or Neanderthals. Some of them are, sure. But most are just like us, with a different point of view.”
Typical…

At school the topic of abortion came up during lunch one day, and conversation went around the table and then came to me. Everyone there had “educated” rationalizations and opinions about it, and when it became wrong to do it, and I just said that life starts as soon as the egg is fertilized and that any act after is murder. People COULDNT believe what I had just said, almost as if i said the earth was flat. I don’t understand where this idea that people who dissaprove of abortion are morons stuck in the stone age.

I wrote the numbers 1 to 9 on a piece of paper and asked them to show me when life really starts. The cat was now out of the bag.

Anyways, we had a big argument, one guy left because all the talk about killing babies made him uncomfortable (as it should!), and eventually everyone felt really uneasy because I wasn’t agreeing with their “learned” opinions. You know, when everyone is telling you something is ok it’s easy to believe.

It’s up to us to bring up this subject, it’s so morally offensive that people put up blinders in their mind, and don’t want to talk about it. God will give you the courage and the words, just give Him the opportunities

Speech is free, BUT ONLY IF YOU AGREE WITH ME!

Revelations;

Good for you! G_D bless you for having the courage to stand up in front of the crowd and declare what you know is true!

It was tough but it was worth it. They are all still my friends, we all still talk, and we all still hang out and work together. But i’m learning, whenever that little voice in me starts talking, let it out instead of keeping it in!

I’m part of a prolife group that is currently in a human right’s tribunal because our student union won’t let us start a pro-life club.
The response we get from others is nuts. They compare us to racists, saying that if they were to allow an “anti-woman” group, they’d have to let an anti-colour group too. Silly. They called us anti-woman 1000 times, but 95% of our group IS women…rationalize that…these are supposed to be smart people, they’re in college after all.
I get called an extremist and compared to suicide bomber by people of my own family because I dare say abortion is flat-out murder.

Ah, another Canadian perspective.

I remember when I was living in London Ontario and the university gave an honorary degree to the infamous abortionist Henry Morgantaler.

I saw an interview with Morgentaler on The Hour, and I was shocked at how many times he mentioned wanting to make lives better for everyone.  Guess he hasn’t been informed of the post-abortion pain women go through. Someone should send him that memo.

All that does is prove how indoctrinated you’ve become, that you would hate yourselves so much that you would adopt this position and limit your goddess-given freedom.

I’ll keep you and your group in my prayers. PLEASE let us know how tribunal turns out!

We who havwe been there need to start speaking out more publicly. I don’t mean on Pro-Life websites, though that’s good too. I mean all over the place, in class, in the steets if it comes to that, on real bulletin boards (the kind you put staples and tacks in), in books, all the places we can where the general public will hear us: “Abortion kills a child and hurts a woman. A child isn’t a punishment, a child is a blessing.”
I was on a feminist site trying to get this point across and I got a bunch of flak. I doubt they even understood what I was saying, and it was as simple as what I just said above.

Gosh. I’ve seen preterists try to get their point across on end-times sites, and born-againers try to get their point across on Mormon sites, and the same thing happens! But without the desire by some to engage in conflict, all these sites would be boring places were everyone just nods their head yes.

I read about an extreme feminist group in the 80’s where you had to have an abortion to prove your wares, and your freedom from man’s ensnarement.

My gf hates feminazi’s. She believes women should have equal opportunity, but not to the point of trying to be men.

Anyways back on topic, yes it is sad how brainwashed we are. I didn’t realise how intensely bad it was until i started opening my mouth. Abortion, gay marriage, etc etc. People are very surprised to learn that these things have been going on for 2000 years. It is only in the last 30 that they have become socially permissible.

Speaking of which, the stain of permissiveness has fully permeated the underwear of the world…and the only bleach that can get it out has a name, and he is Jesus Christ.

Peace be with all of you, and let us pray for all those in need of it.

You don’t have to be pro-abortion to be in favour of rights for women - I consider myself a feminist, but I am definitely pro-life, from the moment of conception to the day after natural death (just in case of a miracle …). 😉

Where did we get the idea that the only way we can be free is to be permitted to kill people who are weaker than ourselves? 🤷

Where do all our wondrously humane ideas come from? Ideas that are so pure in their evil and so pure in their implementation at every level?

This is further proof that the Secular Relativist do not want open discussion since the facts will prove the horrors associated with abortion and their crimes are crimes against humanity.

The more this information gets out there the more people will turn against abortion.

I think so. People seem to have a mental block about it. As soon as it comes up with the people I know everyone rushes to change the subject.

I know for a while I was seriously depressed about the whole lot, but you know what they say a sad Christian is a bad Christian 😃

Merry xmas to all!

I couldn’t agree more…people I talk to will act completely ignorant to facts presented to them, simply because they don’t want to accept it.

Case in point…I’m on another board related to Canadian aviation, and no one, I mean NO ONE would accept the fact there are no abortion laws in Canada. There is nothing in the books written on abortion, thus making it perfectly legal, in the eyes of the law, to have an abortion seconds before the baby is born.

No one would accept that, and while its true most doctors won’t do an abortion that late, fact of the matter is the government still says it would be perfectly legal. No once could accept that, and I put it in the simplest language possible, I don’t know how you couldn’t accept it.

And incase you haven’t heard the story, a hunter here in Canada a couple weeks ago was charged for killing a deer and the fawn still in the womb. So its wrong to kill an unborn deer, but not an unborn human. Stupid.🤷
