Actually there is a whole network of magazines, websites, and organizations that oppose the position of St JP II and Pope Benedict on Fatima. They operate totally outside the Catholic Church, and in opposition to main Fatima apostolate.
In 2012 a suspended priest and a prominent attorney from that network disagreed with St JP II and Benedict, as well as their bishops. They joined forces with the atheist leadership of the European Union, attempting political and legal action against Pope Benedict.
In effect, they claimed obedience to “Mary” rather than to their Pope or bishop. That priest has since died, but the attorney is still prominent in organizations not in any way approved by his bishop.
