If you are referring to me, my understanding of the gospels is far less in the realm of the fairy tale category than others held to. I am trying to be rational about this and come to the Truth regarding the gospels rather than dogmatically accepting what is written there. To do the latter is to have to admit that they are only but fantastical stories because there are far too many gaps and contradictions in them.

Correct me if I’m way off-track here, simplynoone, but don’t you subscribe to the Hebrew Bible? There’s plenty of parting of the Red Sea and raising people to life in there, and skeptics have found a truckload of “contradictions” in the Hebrew Bible alone. I’m not sure why you’re suprised it’s in the New Testament
