I just read about Ros Moss this morning (here), and about the new religious order she is beginning in Saint Louis.

Ros, if you ever read this, know that your show (“Now We Are Catholic”) was one of the first things that hooked me on EWTN! I learned so much from watching this show, and I’ve enjoyed the episodes I’ve been able to watch of your Bible study on the Gospel of Luke.

God bless you in your new life!

Oh wow! I know her brother, David Moss, recently moved his organization, The Association of Hebrew Catholics, here. I wonder if that had anything to do w/ her choosing St. Louis (aside from Archbp Burke being incredibly orthodox and totally open to things like this!). I can’t wait to see them!

In Christ,

Ellen

I announced this Feb 13 on the Vocation forum. Thank you for printing the “official newspaper announcement.” 👍

Oh, I missed that! (I haven’t been on the forums in a while.)

Sorry about the repeat-announcement! I kind of wondered what was up when on the radio she said that for Lent she was “giving everything up - giving her whole life to Christ.” This announcement explains quite a bit!

Good news needs to be repeated. As Ros says…let’s flood the streets with the good news.

I was at the breakfast when she made her first announcement. She received the longest standing ovation even though the breakfast meeting was running late. No one was eager to leave.

She wants to start with four at a time. Her vision is to have the happy nuns bring the happy news (truth of Catholicism) to the streets. Does that sound like hippies giving away flowers:rolleyes: Try to imagine the shock when people see the happiness in the eyes of habit clad nuns giving away true happiness. God is love! God is joy! The main difference is that these nuns are the “real thing”. Their joy comes from the love of God…not drugs and free love. Happiness is the truth…one and the same.
