Great. So, you still have a say in the nomination.I second that. Our primary is not until May 8.

None of the above for me.Hey, can we change the poll since Senator Santorum just dropped out? Iād like to see the # of people who switch their support to Gingrich, Paul, Romney, or none of the above.
Yeahā¦Iām wondering if the Ron Paul campaign will now claim this is a 2-man raceGreat. So, you still have a say in the nomination.![]()
Whoa, whoa, whoaā¦donāt forget Gingrich.Yeahā¦Iām wondering if the Ron Paul campaign will now claim this is a 2-man race![]()
Ya, the people who havenāt had a chance to vote yet have as much say as the chinese students in Tienament Square.Great. So, you still have a say in the nomination.![]()
So, youāre saying that a vote for a candidate who has no chance means you are just wasting your vote? You are starting to come around to my way of thinkingā¦Ya, the people who havenāt had a chance to vote yet have as much say as the chinese students in Tienament Square.
I think we all had a say, if we wanted to. You could have moved to a state that has an ealier primary if you wanted to guarentee that you could participate in a meaningful way. Just like in the general election, if the election is a landslide and its obvious that a candidate has the election won even though some states havenāt finished voting yet, the voters in those other states canāt say, " I wasnāt allowed a say" because you donāt know if the election will be close or a landslide. As one that was not allowed any say in the nomination, I will reject the solidarity argument. That should only apply to those who were allowed to nominate him.
I am hoping that there will be someone third party running that is more in line with Catholic teaching that I can vote for with a better conscience.
Now nowā¦when has their ever been a perfect nominee? Reagan? He was anything but - he was trailing Carter until the debates when he pulled ahead right before the election. Romney has every chance to help turn the economy around and nominate good justices. He has just secured the nomination and some are already complaining. Give the man a chance - you may be pleasantly surprised.Santorumās out. Gingrich is broke. Paul is ignored. I guess its Romney. Yipee.![]()
He hasnāt secured the nomination yet. There is still time for the Ron Paul surge. Now nowā¦when has their ever been a perfect nominee? Reagan? You donāt hear from Ron Paul much. I suppose some would say its a media conspiracy by the āestablishmentā Republicans. But the reality is, Ron Paul, however good his ideas, is just not the candidate to win. For his ideas to prevail, a better candidate who can appeal to a wider audience (without compromising on principle too much) will be necessary. Ron Paul was always a fringe candidate. He hasnāt secured the nomination yet. There is still time for the Ron Paul surge.![]()
I have not been allowed to vote. I may be allowed that chance on May 29, or I may be allowed only to vote for the nominee, or *not *vote for the nominee, you know, like the way democracy works in totalitarian mock elections. How were you not allowed any say in the nomination?
LOL! And people wonder why some of us Texans would want to secede.I think we all had a say, if we wanted to. You could have moved ā¦
So, Ron Paul is going to withdraw from the race before your primary? That wouldnāt be the rest of the countryās fault.I have not been allowed to vote. I may be allowed that chance on May 29, or I may be allowed only to vote for the nominee, or *not *vote for the nominee, you know, like the way democracy works in totalitarian mock elections.
Only nonthinking Texans want that; after all, we gave up 1/3 of our square mileage to be part of this country.LOL! And people wonder why some of us Texans would want to secede.

Nice non-answer, as usual.LOL! And people wonder why some of us Texans would want to secede.
