OUT OF WORK with few opportunities and no direction

I guess it was my participation in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, etc. I’ve tried to teach him the faith in his first quarter century on earth, even before I was a Catholic I was working on him.

Prayers said i was in same postion last year i know its hard and you can loose hope and get depressed i found this site i asked for prayers i was lucky with the help and prayers from people on here i got a job i hope this helps you to stay posative keep praying i done the novena to st martha which is very powerful i hope you find work soon .

Update:

Due to heavy snowfall a week or two before Mass I had to go to the later Mass. The one with a coffee party afterwards. I struck up a conversation with an acquaintance.
It turns out that she (along with some other folk) is/are starting up a counseling/drop-in/tutorial centre here in my small town. She knows that I’ve been doing cleaning/maintenance work lately so she asked for my help.

This will, some day, be a payed position. -]They/-] we are in the process of getting this thing off the ground, so there is no money at all so far. We are starting up with other people’s generosity and donations.
So at the moment I’m doing volunteer work. It looks as though I’ll also be doing research and some computer work with the admin assistant.

God has been providing for this new centre (that will be doing addiction counseling, tutoring) etc. in amazing ways. Prayers are being answered all the time. (All I need is a bit of $)

(Please remember the Community Connections Centre, “Nick’s Place” in your prayers. This appears to be the work of God through lay members of His Church.)

Things may be looking up.

Lord Jesus and Holy Mother, thank you for providing this important work for Reginator. Please continue to strengthen his faith and provide him the graces he needs to persevere in this trial. We also ask that you continue to watch over Nick’s Place. Please help it to become a place where souls in need can obtain the help they need and also to grow in ways that enable those who are doing your work there may be able to provide for their own needs. Amen.

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. Praying for you and your intention. Very difficult time for you now but may turn out eventually to be a blessing in disguise. Also praying for your spouse - does not sound like she is very compassionate.
