TV ads aimed at bringing lapsed Catholics back into the fold have enjoyed enormous success recently with an estimated 200,000 returning to churches throughout the U.S. as a result of the campaign.

While I question the “over 200,000” number, I do really like their commercials and think they’re an awesome idea…
 
Wonderful thing although they are a lot of people lapsing when they´re young.
 
I would sure like to see how they estimate 200,000 have returned to the church because of this campaign. The church can’t even accurately estimate how many have left the church in the first place.

I’m not knocking their efforts, just wondering how they came up with such a number.
