It’s your father’s job to raise her, not yours. I’d tell him you’re leaving the room so as not to make a bad situation worse and to give him the opportunity to correct his daughter in private.
Fair enough ^^It’s your father’s job to raise her, not yours. I’d tell him you’re leaving the room so as not to make a bad situation worse and to give him the opportunity to correct his daughter in private.![]()
This is all very true. I know that she might not be willing to work on a relationship with me, but if we end up not having a great relationship, I don’t want it to be because of me, so I’ll try… but you’re right, she has problems, too, that she needs to correct… I hope they’re mainly maturity issues, and that, given time, she’ll ‘grow up’ enough so we can have an adult relationship.Well, this is not a easy question nor a easy answer is going to be presented. You stated you “Covet” what she has. When you discovered what it was you tried to change that aspect of yourself. Next, you also made a statement of how she can be rude at little things. Now, you want a relationship with you “sister”. Mostly because it was you who was in the wrong, in the current relationship. So let me get this straight, your sister and you have very little ties, due to you. Your willing to change and try and make a stronger relationship, and try to let bye gones be bye gones. It’s been my understanding a relationship has two parts, their part and your part. If your willing to try and make a go about it, your sister has to feel the same way and do in kind. One person in a two person situation can not make and change everything around them. Just take some time and do what needs to be done on your part to ensure that you’ve done everything you can do to make a relationship worth having. Time is the true answer, people need to know what they have before it’s gone, hopefully your sister will see that and come around. It’s not just you that has a problem, It’s her too. The only difference is your correcting your problem.
