Go this website: pop.org/

It will provide you with all sorts of information on how the world is not overpopulated.

While I think we all agree it is not currently, but it begs the question, eventually it will be and does the bible ever speak about this?

I believe I heard once the number that the earth could viably support is roughly 12-15 billion, we are currently around 7.5 billion, so eventually we do reach this number…then what?

Surely God has a plan for this, but Im also sure before we even get close to that number, the secular world will begin considering their own plans to deal with this and we can be sure, it will not be a good thing! I can imagine a world where people are ‘interviewed’ in order to see if they are a contributing member of society and are ‘acceptable’

GEEZ, this sounds like a bad horror movie the more I think about it LOL

Then again, by the time we reach that population amount, we will probably have the ability to live on other planets, so may be a moot issue by then…?

Run the numbers. The entire population of earth can live - each individual with 1,000 square feet of space - within the State of Texas. This leaves the rest of earth unpopulated.

The problem is lack of agrarian/commercial development, governmental corruption and poor distribution of goods and services.

The Earth, could if Governed Correctly, Hold Billions more Humans,
But ,your dealing with an aggressive species here, they squabble and fight, dare one another to cross the line , sooner or later they will blow themselves up…
is it any wonder aliens never sent a rescue mission to Roswell ?

It might be to some extent unevenly populated, which can cause problems, but it is not overpopulated.

Just because there is famine in the world today (as there has always been for millenia) doesn’t mean the world has been continuously overpopulated for untold thousands of years. A shortfall of potential food & goods is not the reason people are in extreme poverty. It relates to a combination of injustice from the outside (corruption, avarice) or injustice from the inside (sloth, pride).

Overpopulated by what standard?

Sustainability? No.

Annoyance? Probably.

God will provide. That’s what we believe. But what you are describing is the lengths to which secularists would go to “save” the world. This would just be another facet of Satan’s attack against the truth. It wouldn’t surprise me if Christians were on the top of the list of undesirables.

For me, it is a matter of faith that the world is not overpopulated. Even given that we all have free will, I do not believe that God would allow us to actually push this planet beyond the ability to sustain the human population. Children, after all, are a gift from God and He intends for each and every one of them to be born which is why abortion is an intrinsic evil. Just logically, why would God intend for children to be born which would be too many for this world to support? He wouldn’t and our viewpoints on population should reflect this understanding imho.
🤷👍

It is overpopulated by secular liberals. But don’t worry, they are taking care of that by themselves.

Yes the world is overpopulated! Looking at the United kingdom alone we have a current population of 63.7 million people.

The UK is around 60% self-sufficient in food overall, and around 74% self-sufficient in the types of food that can be grown here. However, these figures mask wide variations between commodities, and also hide the extent to which foods ostensibly produced in the UK depend on imported (name removed by moderator)uts such as energy or animal feedstuffs.
(soilassociation.org/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=wCYoHYSHsy8%3D&tabid=1326)

What that above quote means is that the UK is living beyond it’s means. The population is still growing and the government refuses to tackle the issue of overpopulation of this small island. Now whilst we have the ability to import energy and food stuffs from other countries this problem is hidden from the vast majority of people who take supermarkets for granted.

I’d like to write more but I don’t have time as I have to go to work maybe I’ll write a longer post when I return this evening.

Overpopulation, global warming. Scare words from the leader of this world. No thought of divine providence. Evidence of global dumbing?

An island being overpopulated does not mean the world is overpopulated.
