The prayer was not used in the church, only published in a generic informative booklet about the Amazon area.
 
Pachamama is an idol, no if’s and’s or but’s about it. The reason she is always shown on the 'earth mat is that it is believed that the earth is divine. Also idolatry
 
We are not stupid, but in some catholic publications with stories depicting those not in agreement with the synod as racist. There has also been quotes trying to compare wanting to keep your culture as if doing so amounts to a person being Hitler like. When someone uses Hitler as a way to insult another point of view, the person that uses “Hitler” has lost the argument.

You bet he is! That’s why there is an absolute uproar over it. He is causing continuous nonstop confusion in the Church of late. This sounds to me like a job for the Virgin of Nazareth. He cowers in the corner when she’s invoked. Scared to death of her he is. Much, much prayer is needed for the Church!

Weak as per the Catechism:
2285 Scandal takes on a particular gravity by reason of the authority of those who cause it or the weakness of those who are scandalized. It prompted our Lord to utter this curse: "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened round his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea."86 Scandal is grave when given by those who by nature or office are obliged to teach and educate others. Jesus reproaches the scribes and Pharisees on this account: he likens them to wolves in sheep’s clothing.87

He may have been thinking of “weak” as in Pauline theology, when describing Christian freedom. He referred to those easily scandalized by idols, when idols are really nothing, as weak. It was not an insult, but a realization that some are easily scandalized by such things.

Well, I cannot vote because the question is asking something that is not possible.

About the Pachamama, I take a lesson from St Paul when he came before the altars to many gods, and the “unknown god”, St Paul did not throw the altars into the river, St Paul used them to preach about God. I think we can all take a lesson from the greatest evangelist.
 
What then does the first commadment mean? If that wasn’t worshiping a false idol then everything is on the table.

No, Pachamama is not the “unknown God” it is an idol, a creature, part of creation “mother earth.” Read the description below–Pachama is not the God who made the earth and all that dwells within it.

If the Pope and bishops were calling people away from Pachamama to penance, then they would be imitating St. Paul. They did the opposite. If someone brought a Pachamama to venerate at the Eucharistic sacrifice or other Christian assembly, Paul would have no doubt defenestrated it. Don’t forget, the Pachamamas tossed in the river were not taken from their ignorant worshippers, but rather tossed from a Catholic church where they were inappropriately placed.

No. St Paul ilustrated the exact opposite of what you claim. The unknown God was the unrepresented one, the one without an idol. Pachamama is an idol and is put on a level above Jesus. The unknown God of the Athenians is God. Pachamama is a pagan idol.

And this is not about throwing idols into the river where they belong. This is about our supposed pastors bringing or allowing these idols into our sacred spaces.

We are not stupid. This is an idol.

Are you are certifying that the prayer was used on October 4 tree planting ceremony? I ask because I watched the video and did not recognize that prayer.

I see that prayer as the prayer of the Inca people in the booklet (Bien vivir) on page 17, but the Catholic prayer is on page 11.
Lord God, One and Triune, stupendous community of infinite love, teach us to contemplate the beauty of the universe, where everything speaks to you about you. Awaken our praise and show gratitude for every being you have created. Give us the grace to feel intimately united with everything that exists. God of love, show us our place in this world as instruments of your affection for all the beings of this earth, because not even one of them is forgotten by you. I have to agree with the other comments. The unknown God St. Paul was talking about WAS God. The “mother earth” idol was that, an idol, a supposed goddess which is evil, that was brought into the Sanctuary of the Catholic church, where the One True God resides in the form of the Real Presence…
