I think this is one show I will not be watching. I do hope, though, that the Bishops will be aware of this show as it might involve Catholic bashing.
Father Alberto Cutié, best known as “Father Oprah,” is getting his own daytime talk show.
Fox Television stations, including WNYW/Ch. 5 here [New York City], and the Debmar-Mercury company this summer will test “Father Albert,” a daily one-hour advice show.
Cutié was a Roman Catholic priest who made headlines when he left the church in 2009 to marry a woman. He’s now a priest in the Episcopal Church, and the couple have a daughter.

Is his vocation to be a showman? He seems to find himself when in the limelight.
Will he be paid for this work,or the money will go to his church?
What do you think it is his motivation for going to the airwaves? He will be aired in New York and Los Angeles to start.
I read in my local newspaper that if he is well liked then it will be aired in the whole country.
I hope he leaves our Catholic Church alone.

The show will be about giving advise to others.
About loyalty,respect, modesty?

If this goes through, Fox has one less viewer.

From what I can see, he has a very high regard for himself. Sad.

I have seen Fr. Cutie’s book “Dilemma” in my local K mart; my question is why does not one see “Rome Sweet Rome” by Scott Hahan, and other similar books at K mart?

Because lies attract flies, but the Truth will set you free (something The Evil One doesn’t want).
