I betting the airline lost his luggage. 😉
In that case, he would not have much to wear at his destination, unless he was returning home. This was at an airport with a cold climate in winter. There were probably quite a few people in thermal underwear there, but under their outer clothing. I did not see a jacket or anything with this guy. So, maybe he did actually lose his clothing to theft, error or accident somehow. I would have expected him to have a jacket, at least to wear over his undies. He was traveling with a friend, who was about the same body size and type. If his friend had baggage, he could have lent him something to wear. So, I think it was just a fashion statement of some sort. Maybe a bet? I didn’t ask.

I was actually just being funny about the propensity for airlines to be less than careful with our belongings. The only thing I can think of is some weird fashion statement. Maybe it’ll be the next big thing.

This wasn’t a gag. It happened. I’m not making it up. I probably over reacted by getting angry because I though that it was that inappropriate. I really shouldn’t have gone on the internet and complained and should have kept it to my self. Sorry.

🤷 Maybe he was making a statement about TSAs “sexually assault or x-ray vision every passenger and call it security” policies… who knows?

In which diocese?

So time change weekend is over…did anyone show up to Mass in their pajamas?

So people showed up in pajamas?

I was a sailor for many years. I can tell you from personal observation, that in certain parts of Asia, like Southern India, Southern China and Formosa, lower class men wear pajamas in public as a matter of course. Of course, in the interest of public modesty, men wear proper underwear with their pajamas in public.
In fact, the word pajama is originally of East Indian origin. However, one never sees women in these areas wearing pajamas in public.

Perhaps it was some kind of gimmick to try something different or get more people to attend Mass. I hope my parish doesn’t try something like that. 🤷
