My ONLY major issue with my faith is that we roll over to any and all enemies even when we are in the right. I know what Jesus tought us about ‘turning the other cheek,’ but isn’t a viggorous response sometimes warranted? If Christians laid down every time an enemy attacked us, we would all be Muslims and Christianity would be extinct. Christians in general and Catholics in particular are such easy targets. The bishop can issue all the condemnations he wants; and I promise NOBODY responsible for this is losing any sleep in Pakistan.
I would like to see the men entrusted with our spiritual well being grow some spine and stand up to the evil in this world… and maybe encourage others to do so? It is SO frustrating!
