Shahbaz Bhatti is a martyr, while he may not have been solemnly declared a martyr, he died for Christians in Pakistan, and died for his faith, even though he knew it was coming.
May the Lord welcome him into the Kingdom of God, while the blood of the martyrs stains the earth.
He is absolutley a martyr. He made it very clear in a video tape just prior to his murder that he knew he was in danger, was standing up for Christians and clearly proclaimed his belief in and love for Christ.
