Palm Crosses

I stopped by the church office today ad saw that the secretary had made two crowns of thorns out of her palms. I had never seen this before, but I just made some with my kids! They turned out pretty good for a first try I think. The pattern is on italiansrus.com.

She actually was upset yesterday as I wouldn’t run down the store for “Green” elastic bands.

I just picked it up as I walked through into the Church They were already folded into crosses for us, saves a bit of time that I can use on my Bible reading plan.

I must say the palms this year were folded in a top quality fashion. The parish bought them in in packs ready folded. Hard to open the strings that tied them together though as my wife was handed a pack and asked to pass them around, I had to use my teeth to bite through the strings.
