I don’t identify with pansex but I believe consenting adults should be able to do use their pots and pans any way they wish, provided it is in the privacy of their own bedroom…or kitchen.
And if they favour that old-fashioned ironware stuff … well, the chafiness is its own punishment, I’d say.

ha ha ha! That made me chuckle 🙂
:: Snerks :: You and me both!! Nothing wrong with being attracted to pans, since they can be lovely and useful things… for cooking tasty meals! 😉

I don’t mean to be offensive, but why do you consider yourself Catholic in that case?
I believe it is licit for a Catholic unless the pots and pans are teflon coated- teflon being the pansex equivalent of a condom

Oh dear. The line… we’ve crossed it… but I needed a good laugh today!

Well I identify myself as a bisexual, but I guess you could call me a pansexual. I can find people attractive that are male, female, transgendered, androgynous, or those who are gender queer. I am happily married and I don’t act on those feelings, but I still have them. Why identify as something as a “fad” if you choose not to act on it and you face great discrimination not only among your religious group, society as a whole (yes society tells us we don’t exist ALL the time, but I guess you don’t know that if you don’t live it. Henceforth why I am in the closet with most people), but also among the queer community as well? Many people (from my personal experience the majority of people) in the LGBTQQIAA community don’t acknowledge sexualities such as pansexuality, bisexuality, and asexuality.

In anthropology when the text or professor referred to “pansexual” it meant having a sexual desire for anyone. Male, female, young, old, related, not related, human, animal.

I’m not sure what the OP means.
Pansexuality in modern times refers to those who are attracted to males, females, transgendered individuals, gender queer individuals (those who do not identify with a certain gender) , and androgynous individuals.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Allies
I suppose I identify as an ally, then! And I hate that people try not acknowledge that which is different. Yes, homosexual acts are sinful… but the people who have the attractions are just as real as those who identify as heterosexual.

I consider myself a non-practicing bisexual. I’m married and attracted to both men and women. I understand and accept what the Church teaches, so I don’t act on my attractions-either to a male or female-unless the attraction is for my husband, and then and only then do I act on it.

For me, the sex of the person isn’t so much of an issue. I’m just attracted to who I’m attracted to. I don’t know, nor do I care, whether it’s genetic or learned behavior or whatever. It’s not sinful for me to be attracted to a person. It’s when I act on that attraction that is the sin, whether it’s fantasizing about a person not my husband or actually engaging in affairs or the like.

Forgive me if this is a poor example, but I kind of see it like being a recovering drug addict. For the person in recovery, thinking about taking drugs isn’t the sin (because the attraction to the drugs will probably always be there to some degree), but actually taking the drugs is a sin.

That’s not a perfect example, and forgive me it offends anyone because that isn’t my intention, but it’s the best thing I can come up with-and it’s far from perfect.

I can fall in love with anyone is what it means. It is not a fad. How can a fad make me love a she male is beyond me. Must be a strong fad. I am married to a full man, jus sayin though

And THIS is where society has gone when we even start to give credence to any of this as legitimate and acceptable and OK. Just because it may exist does not mean it is OK.

We now have young boys living as girsl who got join the Girl Scouts.

We have lesbian “parents” giving their 11 yr old son hormone shots to delay development so he can decide on his own if he is male or female.

How have we gone so far past “God created man and woman in His image”?

These things exist because we as a society allow them for political expediency, or they are a curse upon man. And if God did create people this way, which I do not believe, then it is a cross or burden to bear without acting on it or expecting others to accept it as normal or right. Sounds like a contradiction, but its not.

I identify with this. Does anyone else? I do not however ‘act upon’ it. I’m married to a man.
What is?? …guess I’m behind the times…lol

Oh to the pan guy…pots and pans can be sexy too I guess…lol

The Church teaches that it is fine to be these things as long they don’t act on them. Also intersex people have no decision in the matter and that is a fact. Intersex is the new term for people who used to be called hermaphrodites. It is fine to think that people in these groups aren’t born with it (save for the earlier exception which I pointed out) , but the Church is clear that they are not sinning if they don’t act on their same sexual desires or changing their gender.

I explained this in a previous post, but I will again. It is a person who can be attracted to men, women, transsexual individuals, androgynous people, gender queer people, and intersex people.

Intersex is the modern term for hermaphrodites. Many intersex find the term hermaphrodite to be offensive due to cultural negative connotations with the word, so this is the new term.
