So I was reading a prayer book the other week and it happened to mention that Pope JPII had attached an Apostolic Blessing to those who prayed the Divine Mercy at adoration for the sick and all those dying in that hour. The prayer book claimed that the blessing did not expire so that anyone who prayed a DM at Adoration for this intention even now can get it.
I looked this up online and found what appears to be the Papal blessing to which the book referred, here:
My questions:

My questions:
- Is this blessing still in force, or did it expire either a) at the end of the Jubilee Year 2000 or b) when Pope JPII died?
- Assuming the blessing is still in force, is there any way to transfer benefits of a blessing, e.g. if I got the blessing could I ask Jesus to transfer its benefits to the Holy Souls? I’m presuming that since God can do all things, he could honor my request in some way (i.e. give the Holy Souls something), but on the other hand I am not clear on how the Church sees blessings from my read of CCC 1671 - 1672. I have further thought that a Papal blessing just attached to the person getting it and wasn’t really transferable.
