Even our Dear Blessed Mother Joseph all who believed in God in Abraham and the Holy Prophets were waiting for the Messiah to come. They all believed and preach in the temple about Moses, did they not?That is why Mary was so humble in thinking that God choose her! She said so! I am the handmaid of the Lord be it done to me according to your word! She herself did not understand what was happening to her. She was fearful but the angel sent by the Lord said to her “Do not be afraid, Mary”

to Elizabeth Mary said: He has given help to Israel, his servant, mindful of his mercy—even as he spoke to our fathers–to Abraham and to his posterity forever" his mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear him! “My soul” magnifies the Lord and “my spirit” rejoices in “God my Savior!”

Again the angel tell her!
He shall be great, and shall be called the “Son of the Most High”: and the Lord God will give him ( Jesus) the throne of David his father, and he shall be King over the House of Jacob FOREVER; and of His Kingdom (Jesus) there shall be no end!

Abraham is not dead, death is only the soul leaving the body. what a funny name to give to death when in true it gives us eternal life. St. Peter is not dead. But lives si Holy Spirit.

Jesus meet Moses and Elijah on the mount there where witness, Peter James and John who bore witness to this!

Abraham took Laszarus into his bosom into heaven did he not?

When we pray who are we praying to if they do not live eternally?

Did God not destroy the “first earth” with a flood, did he not say this time he will destroy it with Fire? Are we saying God is a liar? does God not remind us of this in the Bible?

But the question to us is who are “They” that have taken away the “Keys of Knowledge” where was St. Peter crucified? Who are “they”? Who is preaching another gospel other than the one given to us all? Anyone hands you and preaches another gospel that we preach and bore witness to, do not accept them!

There are good spirits and evil spirits we are told to test the spirit!

I am not trying to fool you my friend. You have your answer. If you cannot see it then I am sorry. I do not need to prove that something does not exist, when it never existed in the first place. It is you who needs to prove that the popes of the early Church were able to establish dogmas apart from a council. Good luck. 😉

no, you are the one rejecting the notion not us. therefore you should prove it wrong which you have failed to do so. what council? your councils stopped long ago, ours continued.

Jesus used symbols when he taught, keys is spoken in the Old testament also and in the Bible it is written which says "they have taken away the “keys of Knowledge” ST. For there were 12 apostles sent out and choosen by Jesus, they were commanded to go out to preach the gospels to “ALL THE NATIONS” go forth! But enter by the narrow gate for few shall enter! Read about the 12 gates of God’s temple! 12 tribes, 12 gates 12 apostles. One temple! ONe church ( us) an God will be present among us!
The 12 tribes of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad and Asher, Joseph. I am from the tribe of Benjamin.

/this I do know keys represent the “Keys of Knowledge” But we need the Keys of “knowledge” to enter.

This is taken completely out of context. James is the head of the Jerusalem church. Peter speaks first as it notes, “Peter indeed speaks more strongly”, nay I say declares. James merely speaks last as the leader of the flock of that specific church.

Has the Catholic church ever not praised Paul for being “that teacher of the world”, whom also praised Rome for its faith.

the travels of St. Paul also his churches he founded are mentioned in the book of revelations—7 Churches

St. Paul was choosen by Jesus to become the apostle to the Gentiles. As mentioned to Peter by Jesus before his crucifixtion!

St. Paul preached at Smyna, Pergamos, Ephesus, Philadelphia, Thyatira, Sardis, Patmos, Cyprus in Asia Minor and establishes Churches at Pisidian, Antioch, Iconium and Derbe Acts 13–14

After the Apostolic Council of Jerusalem Paul, accompanied by Silas and later also by Timothy and Luke makes his second missionary journey ( 50-53 A.D) first revisiting the churches previously estaablished by him in Asi Minor and then Macedonia invites him to preach the gospel to his countrymen.

Paul accordingly sails for Europe and preaches the gospel in Philippi, Thesssalonica, Boroea, and then Athens and Corinth. Then he returns to Antioch by way of Ephesus and Jerusalem (Acts 15, 36—18, 22 )

On Paul’s third missionary journey ( 53/54-58 A.D) Paul visits nearly the same regions as on the second, but makes Ephesus, where he remains nearly three years, the center of his missionary Activity. he lays plans also for another missionary journey, intending to leave Jerusalem for ROME and Spain. but persecutions by Jews hinder him from accomplishing his purpose.

After two years of imprisonment at Caesarea he finally reaches Rome, where he is kept another two years in chains until his death ( Acts18, 23–28, 31) Paul is murder and beheaded in Rome.

St.Paul was held in prison in Rome and in prison in Rome wrote his letters. Was beheaded in Rome. Jesus was in Jerusaluem he gave Peter the Keys----“the keys of Knowledge”

You should be leery of touting how your “continuing councils” are a sign of tradition, as there was nothing traditional about convening an ecumenical council that didn’t even deal with dogma (in opposition to all tradition governing such councils), as did your last council. Orthodoxy could always argue that it is better to have an ecumenical council that functions like a real, traditional ecumenical council than to skew its entire nature just because you want to.

Acts 15:19-20

"Therefore I have reached the decision that we should not trouble those Gentiles who are turning to God, but we should write to them to abstain only from things polluted by idols and from fornication and from whatever has been strangled and from blood."

You might notice that St James is using the Greek word, “krino*”*, a legal term meaning “I decide”, “I rule”, “I judge”.

Clearly St James was the head of this council. 😉
 
Father Hans Kung, who on September 26, 2005, had a friendly discussion about Catholic theology over dinner with His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, has rejected the doctrine of papal infallibility. See his book: Infallible? An Inquiry (1971). He claims the the doctrine of infallibility is man-made (and thus reversible) rather than instituted by God. He was not excommunicated and remains a Roman Catholic priest and has had a friendly dinner and discussions with the present Pope.
