At the beginning of my bipolar manic episode I prayed the prayer of St. Michael. I had been frightened by someone looking like the devil. I more than prayed it, I committed it to memory that night. I continued to be sick for two more years suffering from delusions and psychotic features. But the prayer of St Michael helped me discern with humility my place before God and my position between God and Satan. I am sure my delusions would have had a different color if I had not this measure for the true reality of the Kingdom of God while my own reality was shattered and splintered. I thank God for his angels and his saints.

Don’t know if I have any prayers that provide instant answers. But, I still believe in the power of the Rosary and St Jude Novenas. Hope it helps anyone who reads…thanks

The ‘Memorare’ prayer to Our Lady:

"Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen."

I sometimes, when emergencies arise, say a novena Mother Teresa recommended in such cases - which is simply to repeat the Memorare 9 times in a row.
 
Before the Blessed Sacrament, I asked to bear the back pain of a fellow parishioner who was troubled after surgery. I received it almost immediately, but only mildly. When I spoke with him next, I found that his pain was taken away that day and he stopped using his cane. The next week at Adoration, I recieved a small bit of the same pain. Within 30 seconds, the same parishioner walked into Adoration. I knew that the Holy Spirit was telling me he needed additional prayer. He got it.

I asked to bear the depression from a person who was in a medical facility because of the condition. I was crushed to the floor with a wave of what seemed like a doubling of gravity and labored breathing. It lasted for about 45 minutes or so, then gradually faded. The other person was released from the facility that same day.

I cannot say why these incidents occurred, only that they did. It is always before Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, and when I do not care about my welfare that these small miracles occur.

Oh I have a bunch of stories where things suddenly happened and I really needed help ASAP. At those times I didnt have time to pray anything more than short aspirations like “come Holy Spirit I need you NOW” or “Jesus help me help me help me” and an answer came very quickly, in some cases mere seconds.

You are right its very strong please pass the prayer esp the 9 hour one.

No, prayer is not to conform God’s will to fit my own purpose, prayer is to love God’s will so much and to pray them into reality.
