You really can learn something new each and every day.

Now I want some spaghetti and meatballs.

Are Pastafarians allowed to wash their Pasta with wine or they should use grape juice?

The friend with whom I shared this thread said the angel Macaroni revealed to her it was ok when eaten on gold plates.
:clapping: :tiphat:
But the question arises is it sacriligious to cut it or must it be twirled?
It depends on the type of pasta being discussed. (Have you ever tried to twirl:bigyikes: raviolis??)

Wine is:yup: good. Just:dts: none of that goofy :dts: elderberry stuff.

Do you believe in Once Touched Always Touched?
Do you believe the sauce and pasta are symbolical or real?

Or that Ramem eaters (Ramenists) are the original Pastafarians?😃
Define touched. How do I know if I’ve been touched?

The sauce and pasta are real; it is the meatballs that are symbolic.

As previously stated, Spaghetti Pastafarians are the original ones (as in FSM!!) Ramenists eschew Tradition, don’t even accept meatballs, to say nothing of the anointings with oil and spices.

Are dumplings, noodles, tortellini, and fried pastas such as won-ton sacred to pastifarians?

What about rigatoni? Must it be filled? Are tomato and carrot and spinach pastas sacred, or have they been defiled?
I too would like the answer to these questions. As previously, stated, I am a Spaghetti Pastafarian but I’m curious what the liberals have to say.

I have mixed my pasta with both vegetables and meat. When it comes to the salads I have bough some of them in my school cafeteria and others I have made myself. But isn’t it good to take leftover pasta to good use instead of throwing it away? Or is that just shameless self-justification from my side? I have also boiled and refrigerated pasta for the sole purpose of putting it in a salad. And then there’s thousand island, which brings dairy into the equation.
Dear Hilde89,
I see that you are young. In recent years there has been a period of pasta experimentation unlike any in the history of Pastafarians. You have been subtly influenced by this climate of lack of respect for the traditions of the past. Just because you are able to do something with/to pasta doesn’t mean you should do it. In the past, some things that you describe were not even spoken of. (Maybe they were done, but discretely, not written where even children could read about them.) May F-M enlighten you.

I don’t see how or why one person’s belief in spaghetti for example, should be more valid that one person’s belief in Rigatoni. Many pastas, one sauce.

And before you start arguing that there are also many sauces, I meant only one TRUE sauce. There is only one sauce of life.
And yes, those who worship it as “Gravy” instead of “sauce” are still worshipping the same pasta.

I do not believe in ALL the statements from His Noodliness, since in the spirit of Linguini 2 I am allowed to use the primacy of my conscious to show me the light.

That is why I will continue to eat Ziti even on Fridays during the upcoming 30 days of rent - even if you call me a cafeteria pastafarian or not!

What about the orthodoxy of oriental noodles? They are not, I believe, true pasta, but they are called noodles. Are they considered true, but separated, members of Pastafarianism? Can fun see and spaghetti be considered as members of the same religion?

And have I blasphemed by mixing chow mein noodles with melted butterscotch chips, then dumping them in piles and telling my Girl Scout troop that they are “haystacks”? Does that incur automatic excommunication?

Where do I go to get my kitchen right with the FSM?

bite your tongue
Gallo Chianti, in the gallon jugs

we should also warn posters about cafeteria Pastaetc., the pasta served in most cafeterias has been pre-cooked and refrigerated, sometimes for days, and is preheated by pouring boiling water over it. for one thing there is no scriptural support for baptism by boiling, and for another, there is reason to doubt pasta prepared this way is ritually clean. it certainly is watery and gooey, however. ugh. I know this because DD (who fortunately has returned to the Faith since her marriage) once worked at Luby’s.

Rice noodles are totally separate (in other words, angel hairetics), that would be like calling gummy worms noodles. Chow mein noodles, in the oriental rite, are perfectly ok because they are really spaghetti but they don’t realize it. They diverge from us in the question of sauce.

About the ‘haystacks’, perhaps you gave scandal. You would have to consult a canning lawyer about the penalty.

Is it necessary to use pure olive oil in the sauce? What if a family member is allergic to olives?

A young man from my local restaurant has asked me about eating canned spaghetti o’s. My feeling (as a Spaghetti Pastafarian) is that this would be wrong for several reasons. Firstly, the o’s, by their shape, are not a true reflection of the noodliness of FSM’s appendages. The canning process is an issue in itself. And eating from a can is a solitary activity. Spaghetti by its nature is intertwining, eating it indicates a desire for unity with others. The Chianti also fosters unity.

Know a good one, not just a “buffet line” one???
😃
An Italian who is a Chianti moderate would probably give you well seasoned guidance.

I’m looking for one of those myself, of an older vintage. Sharing spaghetti first and see what heats up. Sorry, I realize this isn’t an online dating site. It was the Chianti that got me started. Moderation in all things…

I conchigle to alfresco Gnocchi,
and to you, my bresaola and stringozzi,
that I have spugnoled through my own fazzoletti,
in my tortelli and in my vaniglia,
in what i have diavolillo,
and in what I have failed to digestivo,
and I ask bresaola Melanzane, olio extravergine,
all the agnolotti and salmoriglio,
and to you, my bresaola and stringozzi,
to prezzemolo for me to the Lonza, our Gnocchi.

Well, both the FSM and IPU prove what Screwtape said: Only a really clever person can make a joke about faith or any other virtue. Any fool, however, can TALK as if they were funny.
