I think on a Christian level, though, churches should gather as well. So if maybe I purchased a can of pairs for me then I could also purchase a can of pairs for the church. This way, we could help those that didn’t have the foresight to prepare for the times ahead.

I had this thought tonight. Maybe I should start gathering can goods, gasoline, wood to burn…necessities. Maybe I should purchase a generator. I wouldn’t think this would be hoarding to prepare for trouble. I wouldn’t think this would be selfish to stockpile things a person needs to survive. After reading the news tonight, I felt a strong sense of urgency to prepare for really, really bad times.
