Patrick Kennedy Says Bishops Not Pro-Life for Opposing Pro-Abortion Health Care

Washington, DC – Congressman Patrick Kennedy has a message for the nation’s Catholic bishops: You’re not pro-life. That’s the Rhode Island lawmaker’s reaction to a promise from the bishops to vigorously oppose the health care bills in Congress unless amendments are added to remove abortion funding.

Obviously Kennedy has a different view of what it means to be pro-life than the church. We should pray that Kennedy and people like him wake up to see the necessity of a truly pro life health care reform bill that the church has been calling for.

Is his definition of ‘pro-life’ different from the Church?
 
Patrick is a joke. He has probably been baptized Catholic, but would rather answer to Nancy Pelosi than the Pope. With today’s technology it would be rare that a woman’s life would ever be in danger during pregnancy. How else is the bishop’s position anti life. How can anyone preach or accept this BS?

Looking at behavior, the Kennedy’s are an incredible joke as Catholics.
 
It will be a very good day when every Kennedy is out of office.
 
I saw the clip on TV and I’ve never seen a more disengenuous and dishonest attempt to smear the Church,its Bishops and loyal devout OBEDIENT Catholics unlike him and his family.Eunice Kennedy Shriver was the last real Catholic in that pathetic bunch.Arnold’s wife even calls herself a cafeteria Catholic.:mad:
