That’s right, the evil mean US army saved them.
Not quite:
From CTV.ca - “The mission, led by
Britain’s secretive Task Force Black, involved the work of several Canadian agencies, including the RCMP, Department of Defence, CSIS and soldiers from the elite counterterrorism unit JTF 2.”
If you prefer Fox News - “No kidnappers were present when
Coalition it doesn’t say U-S] forces arrived at the house and found the hostages in relatively good condition, Gen. Lynch said in a military briefing.”
Their response? Not one word of thanks.
Really?:
“Loney sent thanks to the British soldiers, the Canadian government and everyone who thought about and prayed for him in captivity.” (CTV news)
Oh, but they did call them “illegal occupiers”.
It would seem that they aren’t the only ones who have indicated similar sentiments:
news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/2811047.stm
If you don’t like the British source:
Mr. Bush met Friday with Pope John Paul II, who reminded him of the Vatican’s opposition to the war. (taken from:
cbsnews.com/stories/2004/05/26/world/main619785.shtml)
The late Pope may have been completely wrong, however, I will defer to his opinion on this issue.
They prayed for their terrorist friends. This is simply nonsensical. But no prayers for our military, (this is a fact is it?) even the ones who saved them (or didn’t, or had only a minor role) from the terrorists who tortured and killed one of their friends. Typical liberals.
