I dunno…seems like using Jesus in a trendy way. I like it except for the exposition of the Body–it seems disrespectful, IMO.

i feel like you, but: maybe it`ll bring a few Catholics out of the woodwork. The example given by the courageous ones who knelt might have a good effect on some non-Catholics…as well as lapsed Catholics…
“They really believe this!”…

The friar chose a very fitting and attractive spot. It works well in that regard.

Whatever: May God`s Will be done!
 
I loved this and don’t think it’s the least bit disrespectful. When Christ Jesus walked the Earth, He went to the marketplace and spoke to the people, not just sitting around waiting for them to come to Him. These friars got it right! 👍

Christ still walks around in each of us who walk the earth–we don’t need a “show.” Just my opinion, mind you.
