I hope and pray that enough people of right conscience will proclaim what genuine truth and dignity are, and clamor and fight for justice to prevail – the preservation of true marriage and family, by putting God’s gift of sexuality in its proper place in society.
Republicans attempted to add an amendment specifying that “pedophilia is not covered as an orientation;” however, the amendment was defeated by Democrats. Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-Fl) stated that all alternative sexual lifestyles should be protected under the law. “This bill addresses our resolve to end violence based on prejudice and to guarantee that all Americans, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability or all of these ‘philias’ and fetishes and ‘isms’ that were put forward need not live in fear because of who they are.

This is just too horrifying to believe. I did a google search for stories on it from the mainstram media, and there doesn’t seem to be a single one. That’s equally as horrifying.

Is anyone surprised? The polygamists are also making a move as they see an opportunity to mainstream their practice as well.

This is nothing that wasn’t obvious from the beginning. Why ANY Catholic continues to vote Democrat is beyond me…in fact why any person of faith votes for this agenda is a true mystery.

The real fools are voters who vote purely on party lines without regards to the individual candidates. It’s “party mentality” that has put this nation in its present state.

Absolutely. Apparently when a few Democrats voted to remove the IRS from administering Obamacare they were castigated and threatened by Debbie Wasserman Schulz and Nancy Pelosi. If you vote Democrat this is what you get. The individual candidate may not agree with the monolithic pro abort, sexual expression and perversion of any kind mentality but he/she risks political future by stepping out and voting as the constituancy would have it.

I think the R.C. Church needs to clean up its own house on this issue. We just had two new cases in New Jersey, one with a convicted offender who was allowed to stay in ministry. I won’t elaborate.

Has been discussed at length. Check previous threads. The Church has gone to huge lengths to prevent future abuse. There is no way to eradicate every vestige of perversion and predatory behavior but there are few if any organizations that have done as much as the Catholic Church to protect young people now and in the future, as well as making amends for those who were victimized in the past.

HOW do we convince our fellow citizens of all faiths to take this issue seriously and to fight against this?

With regard to fighting against civil unions and gay marriage, it’s been a losing battle, but at least I have battled. Legislative testimonies, rallies, educating at church, convincing priests to preach on the issues, and “trying” to educate people outside of church.

But this pedophile rights issue? People don’t believe it’s possible. They mistakenly trust their political leaders and court system. They don’t want to talk about or hear about it. Priests won’t talk about it.

What do we do???
 
Exactly.

The issue can be anything these days where nothing is sacred. The issue is simply the carrier, the intent is to bring down the opposition. What these people don’t understand is that there are things we are to hold in common and these cannot be sacrificed since they form the moral backbone of our mission. Some things are simply not food for the arena of free opinion.

But all this stems from a larger encompassing problem, that people in this generation have fallen away from the Church, choose to ally themselves with permissible man made churches, or chose to reject God altogether. This is all manifest of the beginning of end time.

It will be argued that minors are in many places already able to receive contraceptives and even abortions without parental consent, so why shouldn’t they be able to consent to sex? Marriage equality will be demanded.
 
B4U-ACT, according to its Web site, has been around since 2003. And I’ve got news for you. A group named NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) has been campaigning for changes in the law since 1978 – and has been met with hostility from the gay rights movement. NAMBLA has gotten no traction and is considered a fringe group. Further, this B4-U Act group was reported on two years ago.

Dr. Berlin is unequivocally opposed to any sexual actions between adults and children. He argues that a distinction should and must be made between individuals with pedophilia who act on their attractions and those who are attracted to minors but refrain from acting on their predilections.

I think that any politician who supports these evil people should also be forced to repudiate their opposition to Catholic priests who harmed children.
