A new parish priest arrived a couple of years ago. One thing of the new things he instituted was Baptism during Mass.
Whenever a baptism takes place he greets the family at the back of the church and begins the Mass “In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.” After reaching the front of the church we get right into the readings. No penitential rite. Is this a problem?
