Christ established the Christian Curch not the Roman Church.
I attended a number of pentecostal services after I had abandoned the Catholic Church. They were interesting and exciting, yet empty and incomplete because they did not contain the fullness of the Truth that you can only find in the Church Jesus founded, the Catholic Church!
Do not fall for the false argument that the Church is invalid or corrupted because it contains sinners.
Jesus chose his Apostles, He trained them and accepted their human flaws. They denied and betrayed Him, but he is still Jesus, eternally the Christ, despite their flaws.
There is only one Church, the Church Jesus founded and passed on to His Apostles to continue on earth, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, until He returns.
While the Roman Catholic Church is made up of human beings who are all sinners, including it’s clergy ( just like the Apostles that Jesus chose), the Truth it teaches is pure, complete and comes from Jesus Christ Himself.
The pentecostal preacher may be exciting, he may love Jesus and he may be teaching a “part” of the Truth, which is Jesus, but he is also teaching many false doctrines and outright lies!
Do they have the Holy Eucharist, the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, as He gave to His Apostles, nearly 2000 years ago? NO!!
"Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’ Jn 6:35
“I am the bread of life. 49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50 This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” Jn 6:48-51
"Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him. 67 So Jesus asked the twelve, “Do you also wish to go away?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.” 70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve? Yet one of you is a devil.” Jn 6:66-70
Pray to Jesus for the Truth and the courage to accept it, no matter how difficult or unpopular it may be.
