Why not? Why are you limiting God now? I thought you believe God can do anything?
He can. He decided not to become fecal matter; therefore he is not fecal matter. 👍

You are hung up on digestion, emad. I know that you have been told Catholic teaching and that it deals precisely with just WHO God is and WHAT He has done.

God is three Divine Persons in One God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God sent His only Son, Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus suffered, died, was buried, rose on the third day, ascended to the Father. In his suffering and death He ALSO made Himself into Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity. Thus He told us to eat His flesh and drink His blood, that we might have everlasting life.

Again, you may not believe it, but this is the teaching of the Catholic Church. We believe it. We believe in God. We believe in the Word of God, Jesus Christ. We believe in the Holy Spirit who guides us according to the word of Father and Son.

You may not believe, but you cannot tell us that it CANNOT BE SO.

? Because Catholics have always believed the presence of Christ ceases in the Eucharist once it becomes indistinguishable from your stomach acid. Check the Church Fathers who always have believed in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist before Muhammad was ever thought of in his mother’s eye.

MariaG thanks for your efforts. I realize now that there is no reasonable explanation to it. I will however read those links if I have time.

🙂
Not true Emad.

But I do pray you read the links.

May God bless you and lead you to all truth and enlightenment.

Maria

Schola said He can’t, but great, good for you. You believe your God can become that. That doesn’t sound like a true teaching of God to me, but you are free to believe as you wish. The true teaching of God is clear, but you are free to believe whatever you want my friend. Thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut, goodnight!

🙂

I am not telling to it can’t be so, though I believe it can’t, I am asking you how can it be so.

We told you how it can be so: Because God revealed it to us.

Tantum said He can, who should I believe? Also why do you believe it ceases in the Eucharist?

Can you quote a verse? Also that isn’t an explanation. If I ask you how does your mother drive? You have to tell me how, and not she said she can so she can. I didn’t ask you if he revealed it to you, I am asking you how it is possible.

I didn’t say that. God can do whatever he wants. He merely decides not to. 👍 Rule number 1: God can do whatever he feels like doing.

Simply because Christ is meant to save humans, not fertalize the grass or save the grass. It is sacramentally present in the species of bread and wine. A sacrament is an outward sign of inward grace (grace = God).

Read the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Although we all try to present what we believe to be the teachings of the Catholic Church, if in doubt, read the “official” version.

God Bless,
Maria

Tantum said He can WHAT? Please do not put words or interpretations into my mouth. I absolutely did NOT say that Christ becomes “fecal material” and I am insulted that you imply that I did.

Oops I am very sorry, that was schola.

Why does He decide not to and how do you know that one day He won’t change His mind?

Goodnight all, I am out of here, thank you for your efforts in trying to explain. Please no hard feelings, I was just trying to understand and initiate some thinking at the same time. Thanks all!! 👍

Um, okay, so now you are asking us to judge and determine the mind of God?

How do you know He won’t change His mind about Islam and all He has said in the quran?

Presumably, he does what he does out of his love for us. I am fairly sure that he won’t change his mind because God is infallible, and, even if he -would- have changed his mind, Jesus promised that whatever the Catholic Church held as true would be held true. His promise is infallible. Therefore, i think it likely that God wont’ change his mind.
