Performance at the White House

If they bring in the performers who supported them during the election, we can expect the White House to rock out with Ted Nugent, and maybe a stirring soliloquy from Scott Baio .
 
Yeah, no Madonna, Katy Perry or Beyoncé. In fact, probably no rap at all. What are they gonna do?
 
Maybe Hulk Hogan can reenact some of his greatest performances.
 
I long for the day, month, year, decade in which the bitter voices of defeat grow up and get a life.
 
Just Donald, alone, in a room full of mirrors being entertained by the only performer he idolizes.
 
There are probably some C/w stars that may like to perform. I did hear that Billy Joel had said some nice things about him so he may be a possibility.

All in all though, I wouldn’t mind this just ending. I don’t that most of us would be happy with Beyoncé,et al, or rap music.

FYI don’t ever watch it anyway.

But it will be be nice next Christmas to see a real Christmas tree with celebrations. Looking forward to that, and if atheists and Moslems or Satanists don’t like it too bad. Sick of this PC correctness and hope Trump follows up on it.

It’s possible he may have a menorah as well since his grand children are Jewish.

As for performances…he has a boy under 12…so probably no one that is raunchy in their lyrics
 
The White House [Oval Office] will be closed for a couple of years for renovations.

No telling how extensive.

The work has already been planned and will begin shortly.

Trump may decide to work in Florida.
 
Apparently Karl Rove said that Pres-elect Trump won’t be able to use the Oval Office. This has already been debunked.

I could see how a country/western cover of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” might have done a lot to unify the nation. Or is it too soon after the election?
 
It’s a shame some of this years participants became more political than those in the beltway.

Trump has said things just as raunchy so the lyrics would not be anything he hadn’t heard before.
 
They should seriously post an audition and name who is competing.

Or do a people’s choice thing with on site voting. And acknowledgements for even those who DON’T appear to receive their awards.

Many great performers who are not “blessed” by whomever it is who decides what music or comedy gets published would be cheered by the fans they still have but are denied a stage.

Lifetime achievement awards would be a good thing too.

Also acknowledging great works of charity actually done by celebrities regardless of their political views.

There is certainly enough talent to make a great show. Coupled with a national holiday would be nice too. 🙂
