Boston, Mass., Jul 27, 2009 / 10:26 am (CNA).- To see the image of God in Boston, a passerby need only look up

Two billboards featuring the Eucharist displayed in a monstrance tower over the streets in Brighton and East Boston. The words under the image read, “The Son’s rays for your soul.”

These advertisements are meant to get the word out about the return of perpetual adoration to Boston after a 40-year absence. St. Clement Eucharistic Shrine on Boylston Street will mark the start of adoration with a Mass celebrated by Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley on Aug. 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption.

Awesome. I feel like adoration is going be a driving force in the revival of the Church here in the US. I live in the Northeast and parishes that have adoration are THRIVING.
 
Excellent! I visited the area on vacation recently and was awed by the church buildings but a little depressed at the apparent decay of the Church itself. If one spiritual discipline can bring back the faithful and strengthen vocations in a major way, I definitely believe it’s eucharistic adoration.
 
I’m very excited to see perpetual adoration back in Boston! St. Clement’s is a beautiful church and, at least for me, it’s in a very accessible area of the city.

Not to mention several hours of daily confession available just down the street at the St. Francis chapel!

I find it hard to believe that a major archdiocese such as this in the U.S. has had no PERPETUAL ADORATION" for the last 40 years. Maybe this is why Boston has had so much trouble.
