Ok I don’t normally let stuff like this bother me but I went into a deli earlier today and caught the phrase “That girl who just pulled up” I was the only girl who had just pulled up and I didn’t know anyone at this deli. I rarely go in there. Maybe 2 or 3 times a year. Anyway I didn’t pay much attention to their conversation I’m not a nosy person but when I walked up to the counter to ordered a sandwich to go. The guy behind to counter was laughing outrageously and said he didn’t work there but he should. He pointed out another girl standing on the opposite side of the deli who had just ignored me till then. I preceded to order the sandwich again with the guy still laughing in the background and the girl curtly taking the order treating me as a great inconvenience. I found this all very rude especially as I was a customer and didn’t know any of these people. I’m wondering if they didn’t know my sister and had us confused but I can’t imagine what she would do either to warrant such treatment. I proabably should have just left when the guy started laughing but it wasn’t till I thought about that it all really started to bother me. Needsless to say that’s one deli I won’t go back to.
