From the time of Jesus over two thousand years ago, Christians have carried the cross of religious persecution. Is it fair to say, the Catholic Church is being persecuted at an unprecedented way at the present time? Now, in the year 2006 Catholics and Christians alike are being crucified for their faith and belief in Jesus Christ; especially now in the Christmas season.
As Christians we can no longer sit back and let this abuse continue. In the United States it is our right to worship as we please, and it is our duty to take the moral high ground to protect our faith. The liberal left is on a mission to destroy Christianity a piece at a time; with their final goal being to remove Christ totally from our lives. Why? Because everything they stand for is contrary to what we profess to believe as followers of Christ.
They continue to try to push their immoral, faithless, and godless agendas down upon us.
And they are going after our children in full force. The public and private schools systems are being used as their main tool; indoctrinating our children with their liberal garbage.
This is only a small example of the religious persecution we are confronting today.
I for one am not going to take it anymore and I hope many others feel the same way I do.
It’s time to stand up strong for our Christian beliefs and values. I pray for all Christians especially now in the Christmas Season.

Merry Christmas!
Anthony

I agree whole heartedly with you. I am so sick and tired of Christians rolling over and playing dead while the persecution goes on. I am tired of being politically correct. I am tired of the few telling us what we can or cannot have in our schools or even display in our public areas. If it offends the few to be wished Merry Christmas what about the many who are offended by the happy holidays greeting. If it were not for Jesus Christ there would be no “holiday” season.
I will join you, Anthony, in your prayers.

God Bless I am sure I can say that at least on this forum

Yes I am also in agreement. We have to be like Daniel was in Babylon. No matter the cost we have to STAND UP for Christ or in his case GOD. He did not give in to the babylonian mentality. We live(at least in the USA)in a culture almost identical to the babylonian mentality. ME ME ME its all about ME. Well, I say to anyone who believes that you better think again.

IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS!!!😃

I do have a question to the OP–you said you are going to do something about it. I was wondering what good advice you may have for the rest of us. I could use some examples to better my christian walk.👍 😃

Thanks

it is a far cry from living in a city that refuses to display a creche in a public park, to being arrested, imprisoned and killed for your faith, or attacked by anti-Christian mobs and killed with tacit government approval, as is happening to Christians in many Moslem and pagan countries. let’s not get confused in our righteous indignation.

Jesussaid: “Pray for those who persecute you.” So as Christians thats a great place to start. We also need to let our voices be heard; writing to our legistlators, and being more vacol on the issues that matter to our Christian beliefs.
Never back down from a debating serious issues. Just to name a few.

To answer I would say that in the United States we have laws; we must obey our laws. So we all have little things we can do to be a light to non-believers.
We have no control over other Countries, or Nations, that persecute Christians or people of other Religions. As for myself thats where prayer comes in.
