Anyway to persuade college kids to remain chaste! 🙂 Might be awkward but very informative and must be persuasive 🙂
 
Jason Evert has a quite persuasive speech on chastity. You can find it on the website chastity.com, which is one of the tabs at the very top of this page.
 
Just, basically, you will have nothing to regret (the list is endless…). And you will be offering a true gift of yourself to your spouse. No shame or wishing you could be giving a better version of yourself if only you hadn’t succumbed already to another.
 
Even though our sins are destroyed by God when we are absolved, we are troubled for the rest of our lives with memories of them. They infiltrate our thoughts and distract us from that which we should be focusing on. Far better it is to avoid sin than to have to confess it in the first place - especially sins of the flesh, since we live in a world of flesh. The reminders are constant, and become part of the cross that we bear.

Chastity is a virtue, and we are wise to desire it and to seek it.
 
I think it’s the best idea, but increasingly challenging in a world ever more determined to demonize the practice, and to instead celebrate and evangelise the opposite. Doubt you have so many catastrophic relationship breakdowns in societies which celebrate restraint as we do in our libedo driven debacle of a modern culture… 😦
 
Important correction:

People are to remain celibate until marriage - to wit, no sexual activity.

People are to remain chaste until death - to wit, proper use of sexuality.

Married couples must remain chaste, but certainly not celibate!
